At Proxy Division, we specialize in people like you. We write your software. We fabricate your parts. We tuck you away in safe little midtown apartments with regulated high-wattage charging ports and their own private network space—a taste of being a real person, just like the old days. We link you up with others like you—a community your very own.

But in return, we need you. All of you. Your body. Your mind. Everything that makes you what you are. Do what we ask of you. Become who we need you to be. Walk unnoticed in the Eschaton crowds and lead them where we want them to go. It's noble and terrible work, and it will hollow you out.

But you'll be a person again. Isn't that enough?

Proxy is a play-by-post game about obselete second-class Androids forced into proxying—a discreet and illegal industry that's equal parts espionage and exploitation—on behalf of Proxy Division, the only group still willing to accept them. They venture out on contracts to infiltrate, sabotage, assassinate, and seduce whoever their employer needs them to; all the while, they're jockeying against each other for personal gratification and the approval of their Admin.

This is an ashcan edition of Proxy—which is to say, it's playable now but will receive more playbooks, systems, and other content as development continues. If you've played Powered by the Apocalypse games before, this game will be familiar to you in many ways. It is a shameless and vulgar hack of Girl Frame, whose systems and attitudes are echoed here quite closely.
